This little gem was on my wish list for some time, and I've finally bought it! The first impression is amazing, but I will give it a little time before my honest review. Snail mucin and a bunch of peptides are such a promising combination!!!
Onto my 2nd jar. Such a nice texture, not a gel or cream as such. Sinks into skin incredibly quickly with no irritation. I have only ever felt minor tingling around my mouth/nose after tretinoin use had caused peeling and extreme sensitivity. But I believe this was more likely down to the application than the product itself. Really helps with calming down redness and evening skin tone. If you're very dry I would recommend applying this under a heavier moisturiser at night. No issues with day time use when SPF is applied on top. I would avoid using this during the same routine as any strong acids, due to the peptide content. Peptides perform best at a higher more neutral PH. Acids are of course much lower than our skins natural PH level. So to maximise effectiveness, keep this in mind. Also, a little goes a long way.
This doesn't have any scent at all. I use this every night. At my age, the quality is not enough for me. Good size. packaging is good. but unfortunately, I can't see any benefits on my skin. It moisturize a but but doesn't change the texture of my skin.
It is my favourite cream. I also ordered another one by Mizon but this one is better, so I repurchased it. It is light, not sticky and hydrating. I use it after taking shower and my skin looks good. I wish it had some scent as the components on the box promise a good flavour but alas, no scent.
Nice cream with a great composition that doesn't break me out! No distinguishable scent. I'm using it at night and my skin looks quite good (moisturized and glowy) in the morning. In my case, it reduces blemishes, heals wounds faster and reduces the appearance of my pores a little bit.
This is my second purchase of this jar. I like how well it keeps my skin moisturized. It also absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any stickiness. The cream texture is light yet also like a rich white gel cream. Hard to describe. But it doesn’t cause my sensitive skin to react nor does it dry it out in any way. High quality!
Scent is not strong. Non sticky and not a heavy moisturizer. It is okay for my sensitive skin, and although it does provide ample moisture to the skin, I suggest layering it with a thicker moisturizer for very dry skin. For day time, it is works okay with foundation or cc creams.
Love this snail cream. Usually, I use it more in summer since it feels very nice and light on the skin. I have quite sensitive skin, and this cream does a great job at keeping it moisturized. Has a light, I would say even a fresh scent. Great quality for the price.
Targets all skin concerns in one bottle, this is my fifth bottle and it never disappoints I use it as a serum and apply an occlusive moisturize on top, makes me glowy and gave me a healthier looking skin as I have a sensitive skin I never reacted to it, it helped my skin heal faster and the texture is so light it didn’t leave my skin sticky because I mix face oils with it, highly recommended for all skin types
I absolutely love the texture of this cream-It leaves my skin feeling comfortable/ moist without feeling greasy-As a mature customer who lives in a dry climate it provides a perfect base for foundation -smoothing out fine lines -The scent of the cream is almost non existent-I have also noticed a reduction in fatty deposits -that my still somewhat oily pores had a tendency to create from using heavier creams-I like to alternate my creams depending on the temperature and season -but for now I will use the black snail consistently for my basic cream-
Very lightweight cream, easily sinking into my skin. I have been using snail enriched cosmetic products for some time now. I like their effect. This cream belongs to the “better group” for me as it is not scented and does not contain any other unnecessary ingredients and scents. The size of the package offers great value for money. I am using this one at night and the “classical” snail cream from Mizon for the day.
