I like the that it is made of a strong plastic that does not seem to be toxic or have a strange smell or scent that some cheap plastic combs have. I also like that it will not break easily. The teeth are thick and well spaced to detangle my hair. An added bonus is the hook at the end of the handle making it easy to hang if you use it in the shower.
